Description
Huginn, a raven companion to Odin, perches alongside Muninn, their contrasting plumage—ink-black against Muninn’s white—marking their eternal partnership. Prideful and talkative, they deem humanity beneath them, wielding their status as Odin’s envoys to flaunt superiority, though their bravado falters under threat. For millennia, they have observed pivotal moments in celestial politics, including the Gods’ Council 4000 years past, where deities voted to spare humanity yet unleashed punishments like Aphrodite’s annihilation of Thebes.

When Brunhilde disrupted a later council to propose Ragnarok, the ravens scorned the notion, scoffing at humanity’s audacity to defy gods. During Thor’s clash with Lü Bu in Ragnarok’s opening round, Huginn speculated that Thor’s summoning of Mjölnir signaled genuine respect for his foe, not mere restlessness. The ravens stared, stunned, as Lü Bu endured Thor’s Geirröd Hammer strike—a blunt reminder of their underestimation of mortal resilience.

Endowed with human speech and a lifespan exceeding four millennia, Huginn and Muninn serve as sharp-tongued observers within divine affairs, their commentary echoing Odin’s shadow over the cosmos. They linger at the edges of battles and deliberations, chronicling triumphs and follies with equal relish, ever bound to the Allfather’s influence.
