Michael Chapman

Description
Michael Chapman is an American voice actor known for his work in English-language dubs of Japanese anime series. He is also recognized for his broader career in animation as a writer, animator, and co-creator of the influential web series Homestar Runner.

Chapman's anime voice acting portfolio includes a range of supporting characters across several notable series. He voices Miguno, a spotted hyena and member of the drama club, in the Netflix anime Beastars. In the series Record of Ragnarok, he provides the voice for Huginn, one of the two raven companions of the god Odin. His other anime credits include the role of Masaru in Hi Score Girl II, Kosei Hirata in Forest of Piano, and Tetsu in the film In This Corner of the World. He has also voiced characters in series such as Dorohedoro, ID-0, and B-Daman CrossFire. It is noted, however, that in some productions, such as the English dub of Record of Ragnarok, the character of Huginn has been voiced by other actors in different adaptations, indicating some variation in casting across projects.

Beyond his anime roles, Chapman has a long-established career in animation. As one half of the creative duo The Brothers Chaps with his brother Matt, he co-created the groundbreaking Homestar Runner web series, for which he also provided voice work. His behind-the-scenes work includes writing for animated series such as Wander Over Yonder and creating the Disney XD series Two More Eggs.
