TV-Series
Description
Göll is the youngest of the thirteen Valkyrie sisters and serves as a constant companion to her eldest sister, Brunhilde. As an apprentice Valkyrie, she is not yet fully initiated into the role of creating divine weapons, though she possesses the potential to do so. Her existence spans millennia, as she has lived for over 1,800 years due to the semi-immortality afforded by her divine physiology, which also renders her immune to harm from ordinary mortal weapons.

In terms of appearance, Göll is designed to look like a modern teenage girl rather than a traditional mythical figure. She has short lilac hair styled in a bob with upturned ends at the back, and large, round aqua-green eyes featuring a distinctive spiral pattern in the irises. A small, gold, wing-shaped hairpin adorns the left side of her bangs. Her casual outfit typically consists of a green or brown jacket over a white or yellow shirt, paired with tight black shorts, a single black legging on her left leg with a garterbelt, and green high-top sneakers.

Göll’s personality is defined by her high energy and intense emotional expressiveness, which stands in stark contrast to the cool and often inscrutable demeanor of her older sister Brunhilde. She is frequently anxious, worried, and prone to crying, especially when the lives of her sisters or the human fighters are at risk. Her reactions are loud and immediate, ranging from screams of terror to shouts of encouragement and sobs of grief, a trait that often irritates her more composed sisters like Brunhilde and Hrist. Despite the grand scale of Ragnarok, her concerns are often deeply personal, centered on the safety of her family. She mourns the loss of each sister who perishes when their contracted human dies, vividly remembering moments spent with them. Over the course of the tournament, she demonstrates significant growth, transitioning from a fearful observer who doubted humanity could ever stand against the gods to a more supportive figure who cheers for the human champions. While she remains horrified by the brutality of the events, she also shows remarkable resilience, choosing to understand and support Brunhilde’s沉重的 burden rather than succumbing entirely to despair.

Göll’s primary motivation throughout the story is not a grand ambition to save humanity, but a more intimate desire to protect her sisters and understand Brunhilde’s ruthless strategies. She acts as the emotional core and the conscience of the Valkyries, often questioning the moral cost of Ragnarok. She is deeply disturbed when Brunhilde employs underhanded tactics, such as forcing a Völundr with Hlökk to assist the notorious killer Jack the Ripper. Her emotional turmoil peaks during the fourth round when her beloved friend, the god Heracles, is pitted against Jack. Torn between her affection for Heracles and her duty to her sister, she openly accuses Brunhilde of being cold and uncaring.

Her relationships with her sisters form the foundation of her character. She looks up to Brunhilde, whom she affectionately calls "Hilde big sister," but is frequently terrified by her provocative attitude toward the gods and her willingness to sacrifice their siblings. With Hrist, the second eldest, she finds a source of comfort and explanation, though she is also wary of Hrist’s violent alternate personality. She treasures memories of her older sisters, like the powerful Thrud carrying her on her shoulders and joking that she should not grow up to be as big. Beyond her family, she has a notable friendship with the demigod Heracles, and she shows empathy toward even the most controversial human fighters, like Jack the Ripper, offering him kindness after his difficult battle.

As a Valkyrie, Göll possesses the power of Völundr, the ability to transform her soul into a divine weapon by forming a pact with a human fighter, allowing that human to harm gods. However, this power is a double-edged sword, as the fate of the Valkyrie becomes linked to her human partner; if the human dies, the Valkyrie perishes as well. While she has not yet performed a Völundr in the main story, she is capable of doing so. Her other abilities include the standard divine traits of semi-immortality and a body that cannot be harmed by mortal weapons, though she remains vulnerable to attacks from divine weapons or beings with immense physical strength.
