Giulia Tarquini is an Italian voice actress born in 1989, known for her extensive work dubbing foreign series and films into Italian, with a particular focus on animation and anime. Her passion for voice acting began in childhood, sparked by curiosity about how animated characters received their voices. She pursued this interest professionally from the age of fourteen, with the support of her family.

Tarquini has voiced a wide array of characters in anime and animated productions. She is the Italian voice of Ruka Urushibara in the series Steins;Gate and its sequel Steins;Gate 0. Her work also includes the role of Harmonin in Futari wa Pretty Cure Max Heart and Kayo in Pretty Cure Splash Star. For the Netflix anime series Record of Ragnarok, she provides the voice for the Valkyrie sister Göll. Additional anime roles include Momoka Oginome in Mawaru-Penguindrum, Naru Osaka in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal, and Aries in the later seasons of Fairy Tail.

Beyond series, Tarquini has voiced characters in several high-profile animated films. She is the Italian voice of the title character in Studio Ghibli's The Secret World of Arrietty and voices Umi Matsuzaki in another Ghibli film, From Up On Poppy Hill. Her Ghibli dubbing work also includes roles in Si alza il vento and I sospiri del mio cuore. In live-action television, she is recognized as the Italian voice of Sophie Turner as Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, Molly Quinn as Alexis Castle in Castle, and Morgan Saylor as Dana Brody in Homeland. Tarquini has named fellow voice actress Domitilla D'Amico as a significant inspiration and model for her career.

In 2018, Tarquini expanded her creative work by publishing her first novel, titled Giovani anime antiche, with the Elpìs publishing house. The book is a fantasy story that explores themes of love, friendship, and multidimensional reality.
