Description
Hwalipon, also known by the code name Horse, is a character who appears as a significant antagonist in the Invader Rights Association story arc. Hwalipon is an Executive of the Villainous Army, holding a position of authority over the lower-ranking monsters known as Dusters. For a time, the Dragon Keepers, the defending Rangers, had lied to the public and claimed that Hwalipon had been defeated years before the main events of the story, but this was later revealed to be false.

In terms of appearance, Hwalipon possesses a unique and unsettling look. The true form is that of a small, cone-shaped creature with horse-like ears, four blocky legs, two inward-facing eyes, and bushy hair at the back. However, Hwalipon is rarely seen in this original form. More commonly, this character inhabits and controls human bodies taken as vessels. While using a human host, Hwalipon typically wears a damaged potato sack or an eerie mask over the head, concealing the identity of the body and adding to a mysterious and sinister persona.

The personality of Hwalipon is defined by a deep and unusual fascination with the human mind and human behavior. Unlike other Executives who may simply view humans as enemies or obstacles, Hwalipon is genuinely curious about why people think and act as they do. This curiosity often drives actions that range from the performative to the cruel. Hwalipon has adopted a very public persona as a popular video streamer, attracting tens of thousands of viewers to live broadcasts. Through these streams, Hwalipon directly challenges the established order by exposing what are claimed to be the true events behind the Rangers' staged Sunday Showdowns, revealing the corruption within the Ranger Force. This infatuation with humanity also leads to darker experiments, such as killing humans simply to observe the emotional reactions of others.

The primary motivation for Hwalipon is not simply revenge against the Rangers but a more complex desire to disrupt and dismantle the world they have built. By broadcasting the truth, Hwalipon seeks to turn public opinion against the Dragon Keepers and demand their disbandment. Furthermore, Hwalipon aligns with the goals of the Invader Rights Association, an organization that fights for the rights of the monster remnants. Hwalipon shares a strong ideological agreement with Yakushi Usukubo, the chairman of this association, believing that the Invaders should rule the world.

Within the story, Hwalipon serves as a major threat that operates from the shadows and in plain sight. One of the most notable actions is claiming responsibility for a monster release at a zoo, using the event as leverage to make demands of the Rangers. In combat, Hwalipon proves to be a formidable opponent, once managing to cut off the head of Sesera Sakurama, the Pink Keeper, during a fight. The ultimate goal appears to be the elimination or transformation of all humans.

Key relationships shape Hwalipon's role. The alliance with Yakushi Usukubo is built on mutual goals. The rivalry with the Dragon Keepers is deeply personal, particularly with Pink Keeper. In a significant confrontation, Hwalipon manages to behead Pink Keeper multiple times, learning the pattern of her regeneration ability. However, during this same battle, Hwalipon is confronted by Tsukasa Shippō. After a brief chase, Hwalipon is cornered and, upon receiving confirmation from Hibiki Sakurama, Tsukasa crushes and kills the Executive without hesitation. The dead body was later found in a church, marking the end of Hwalipon's scheme.

Hwalipon possesses several notable abilities that make a dangerous adversary. The most defining power is the ability to take over and control human bodies. This is typically achieved by beheading a victim, at which point Hwalipon can control that body as a puppet. The blood from the neck hardens and spirals as part of this process. Furthermore, Hwalipon can create multiple separate bodies from people who have been beheaded, each acting as an independent entity. Additional abilities include the power to summon and manipulate sharp strings capable of killing or grievously injuring a human. In the true parasite form, which is small and vulnerable, the primary strengths lie in the powers of possession and control rather than raw physical might.
