Description
Linia Dedoldia, whose full name is Lineana Dedoldia, is a member of the beast race from the Dedoldia clan, a feline-type tribe that resides in the Great Forest. She is the granddaughter of Gustav, the village chief of the Doldia Tribe, and the niece of Ghislaine Dedoldia, a renowned swordmaster. Because she was considered academically poor despite her royal bloodline, her grandfather sent her to the Ranoa University of Magic to gain knowledge. At the university, Linia, together with her childhood friend Pursena Adoldia, became one of the school’s top delinquents, terrorizing other students with her aggressive and arrogant behavior. She is naturally boisterous, frivolous, and quick to flaunt her authority over those she perceives as beneath her. Impulsive and easily provoked, she nevertheless shows a strong instinct to submit to and flatter people who are far more powerful than she is. This trait becomes evident when Rudeus Greyrat discovers that Linia and Pursena broke a treasured figurine belonging to Zanoba. After Rudeus subdues and humiliates them, Linia immediately acknowledges his superiority and begins calling him Boss, displaying fierce loyalty. Linia excels in physical combat and specializes in offensive magic, but she struggles with academic studies. Her motivations are driven by her warrior heritage and a desire to maintain her pride within the tribe, though she gradually learns to adapt to the more structured environment of the university. She forms strong bonds with Pursena and develops a grudging respect for Rudeus and other former rivals. Later in her life, after graduating, she becomes a peddler trading goods between Asura and the northern regions, but falls into debt, is taken into custody, and sold into slavery. She eventually escapes, is found by Eris, and later becomes a slave owned by Rudeus, who pays off her debt. Over time, she takes on the role of representative director of the Rudo Mercenary Company. Throughout her journey, she experiences significant development, moving from a pampered, delinquent princess to a more responsible figure who balances her tribal warrior instincts with the demands of human society. Her notable abilities include her feline agility, combat prowess, and offensive magic, as well as her capacity to adapt her tribal pride into genuine loyalty and leadership.
