Chota, an elite Magic-User and high-ranking En Family member, wields rare dispelling magic capable of nullifying any spell, regardless of power or origin. His imposing physique is clad in spiked reptilian-print armored leggings, while a grotesque, tooth-filled avian mask—devoid of eye holes—shrouds a face disfigured by experimental surgeries. These procedures granted him smoke-spewing abilities through his mouth and hands but left his skin irreparably damaged, resisting all healing magic. A heart tattoo etched with En’s name on his left arm broadcasts his obsessive loyalty.
Though initially kind, his fixation on becoming En’s partner curdles into venomous jealousy when En favors Nikaido. He repeatedly targets her with comically bungled assassination attempts. Forced into becoming Nikaido’s identical clone via a magical contract with Asu, Chota initially recoils from his new form but soon exploits it to court En’s attention, adopting feminine mannerisms and attire. The contract’s accidental destruction reverts him, provoking En’s wrath.
After En’s death, Chota is tasked with guarding Kikurage. En launches him from battle via a mushroom-transformed head, but mid-flight dispelling magic strands him, severely injured, in Hydra Forest. He endures a malnourished month under Kikurage’s watch until Fujita and Ebisu rescue him. Restoring his muscular frame, he aids in reclaiming the En mansion, brutally interrogating Cross-Eyes prisoner Dokuga.
His dispelling magic, reliant on intricate rituals with rare components, remains a strategic En Family asset. Unshaken loyalty drives him to endure transformations and suffering for En’s proximity. A parasitic “diet bug,” used to extract information, highlights his pragmatically gruesome methods. The kanji in his name (烏太)—“crow” and “thick/plump”—reflect his mask’s avian motif and sturdy build.
