Description
Lambert, a former operative of the Nazi Ahnenerbe, dedicated his wartime efforts to hunting ancient artifacts to bolster the Third Reich’s power. He spearheaded the pursuit of Professor Bresson, an archaeologist who concealed the Bresson Diary—a key to locating the Eclipse, an advanced ancient device. Following Bresson’s demise, Lambert staged a car crash that killed the professor’s fleeing family, sparing solely their infant granddaughter, Laetitia. He adopted her, erasing her true heritage and masquerading as her doting grandfather.

Posing initially as a mentor, Lambert groomed Laetitia in archaeology and manipulative tactics, exploiting her latent connection to the diary. As her prowess eclipsed his own, his mentorship warped into resentment, driving him to psychological manipulation and gaslighting to erode her self-worth. He systematically conditioned her dependence, threatening to sever her Boston University enrollment unless she reclaimed the diary for him.

Lambert’s fixation on the Eclipse led him to ally with Geralt, a fellow Nazi fugitive plotting to revive the Third Reich. Despite his calculating pragmatism, Lambert harbored conflicted loyalties. When Geralt turned his gun on Laetitia for obstructing their plans, Lambert intervened, taking the fatal bullets himself—a sacrifice exposing a lingering paternal bond. He died without confessing her true lineage or atoning for decades of deceit.

His actions, fueled by unwavering ideological zeal and a hunger for legacy, prioritized the Eclipse above all morality. His death left Laetitia entangled in a web of lies, which unraveled to reveal both her stolen ancestry and his role in erasing it.
