The ordeal leaves a lingering scar, later purified through a ritual dance at the Lake of Purity with Yu’s aid.

Compassionate yet resolute, Astrid grapples with isolation stemming from her title; she senses others’ respect stems from duty, not genuine care. Her father’s emotional distance and her mother’s absence deepen this loneliness, though her servant Dandy offers rare solace.
