Description
Sukari, a 15-year-old steam smith residing at Aragane Station, sports long, wavy blonde hair and brown eyes, clad in the formal attire of his trade paired with practical black sandals. His sharp tongue and habit of mocking colleagues like Yukina contrast with his willingness to act decisively in crises, such as extracting a Kabane corpse fragment from the Koutetsujou’s gears despite vocal complaints. The Kabane’s murder of his father in his youth cemented his conviction that harsh truths outweigh hollow comforts—he advocates directness, even when informing a child of a parent’s demise. Though his exchanges with Yukina begin as barbed, their dynamic evolves into a tentative bond laced with unspoken mutual regard. Sukari’s pragmatism, etched by loss and a buried sense of duty, drives his actions, balancing abrasive honesty with an undercurrent of protective resolve.
