Movie
Description
Itona Horibe arrives as a transfer student in Class 3-E, marked by short, spiked platinum blond hair and sharp light blue eyes, later concealed beneath a large bandana. His short stature belies a strong build. His past reveals he is the son of a former president of Horibe Electronics Factory. Following the company's bankruptcy and his abandonment, he lived with an uncle where bullies targeted him as weak, fostering a deep obsession with power and victory and a disdain for perceived weakness.

During this vulnerable time, Shiro recognized Itona's tenacity and implanted him with tentacles similar to Korosensei's, granting enhanced abilities but creating dependence on Shiro. Consumed by the need to prove himself the strongest, Itona fixated on assassinating Korosensei. His personality was brutally honest and direct, often expressing contempt for weakness. The tentacles also caused him to mimic Korosensei's interests, including an affinity for large breasts and specific snacks.

Itona's initial assassination attempts were meticulous but failed. He trapped Korosensei in a classroom fighting ring, attacking with his tentacles, only to be defeated when Korosensei exploited their shared weakness to anti-sensei weapons. A subsequent plan involved manipulating Terasaka to lace the school pool with chemicals, thwarted by Class 3-E's intervention. These failures destabilized his tentacles, which began consuming his consciousness. After another failed ambush using anti-sensei fabric, Shiro abandoned him as a liability.

Left unstable and alone, Itona rampaged through Kunigigaoka, targeting electronic stores at night. Class 3-E and Korosensei rescued him when Shiro used him as bait. Recognizing the tentacles would kill Itona, Korosensei oversaw their extraction. During his recovery, aided by Terasaka's group, they discovered electronic stores—linked to his father's legacy—calmed him. An anti-sensei material bandanna suppressed the tentacles during removal.

Post-removal, Itona became more mellow and humble, acknowledging others' strengths while retaining his blunt honesty. Grateful to Class 3-E, he fully integrated, participating in assassination attempts as a team member rather than for self-validation. His technical skills, honed from his family's electronics background, flourished. He excelled at inventing devices like surveillance drones and tanks, frequently collaborating with Ritsu to enhance class strategies. Though reduced, he retained heightened intellect and physical abilities from his tentacle experience.

Itona formed close bonds with Terasaka's group, often visiting Muramatsu's family ramen shop while openly criticizing the taste. His hobbies and traits continued to mirror Korosensei's, including a sweet tooth, enjoyment of shounen manga, and interest in women's breasts—even volunteering his inventions for voyeuristic purposes. He treasured an old soldering iron from his father, symbolizing his lingering connection to his past. Academically, he excelled in sciences but disliked social studies.

In the film *365 Days' Time*, set seven years later, Itona appears as part of a Class 3-E reunion.
