Description
Caesar, whose real name is Takako Suzuki, is the loader for the Hippo Team tank crew at Ōarai Girls High School. She leads the "History Girls" club, dedicated to historical studies with a focus on the Roman Empire. Her nickname stems from Julius Caesar, sharing both left-handedness and a January 10 birthday, coinciding with the historical figure's crossing of the Rubicon. Caesar wears a distinctive red scarf recalling a Roman *focale* and occasionally a laurel wreath. She possesses expertise in Italian and Latin languages and in-depth knowledge of military history.
Before Ōarai's match against Anzio High School, Caesar trained her endurance by loading shells through a mock tank breech at home. During strategy sessions, she translated Italian technical documents about Anzio's P40 tank for Miho Nishizumi, providing key tactical insights. Caesar revealed a childhood friendship with Carpaccio, Anzio's vice-commander and Semovente tank loader, but chose not to use this connection for intelligence gathering, citing fairness and respect.
In the battle, Caesar identified Carpaccio's tank by its blue hippo emblem, matching her online identifier. Their tanks dueled, Caesar's StuG III facing Carpaccio's Semovente. While the StuG III had superior armor and firepower, the Semovente countered with greater mobility and a lower profile. The duel ended in a simultaneous knockout as both tanks fired at the same time, a result of identical reloading speeds. After the match, Caesar attended a banquet hosted by Anzio featuring Italian food, reaffirming her bond with Carpaccio.
