While performing practical tasks like floor mopping, tree clipping, and futon preparation, she and Ohana discover old logbooks maintained by Denroku Sukegawa during joint cleanup duties in a storage room. These records detail past events involving Satsuki Matsumae (Ohana's mother) during her rebellious youth at Kissuiso, her strained relationship with Sui Shijima, and her eventual departure.
