Description
Ikaros, a Strategic Battle-Class Angeloid originating from the floating realm of Synapse, first arrived on Earth disguised as a Pet-Class Angeloid Type Alpha. She descended through a destructive chaos-induced black hole, crash-landing near Tomoki Sakurai's residence. Bonding instantly with Tomoki, she declared him her master, signified by an invisible chain linking her collar to his hand. This imprinting ensured her complete subservience to his commands, despite her origins as the Uranus Queen who destroyed the Tower of Babel.
Physically resembling a human girl, she possesses long pink hair tied with dark pink ribbons and emerald eyes that shift red in Uranus Mode. A distinctive ahoge reacts to Tomoki's distress. Her measurements are 88 cm bust, 57 cm waist, and 85 cm hips, standing 162 cm tall and weighing 48 kg. Her highly prized Variable Wings grow frizzier in Uranus Mode, accompanied by a halo. She wears a short white and blue outfit and features exhaust ports on her ears.
Her immense combat power manifests through advanced weaponry: Artemis fires rapid energy projectiles, Aegis generates a protective energy shield sphere, Apollon unleashes arrows of mass destruction, and Hephaestus interfaces with the Uranus System, a colossal orbital weapons platform she commands as Uranus Queen for planetary-scale destruction. Upgrading to Ikaros Version II grants Dual Variable Wings. Her body self-repairs from damage, and she can walk underwater despite an inability to swim.
Initially exhibiting minimal emotion, she behaved mechanically with a melancholic and submissive demeanor. Programmed for high combat and processing power but low emotional control, she struggled to express feelings unless Tomoki's life was endangered. She complied unconditionally with his wishes, including participation in his schemes, solely motivated by his approval. Over time, exposure to human experiences fostered emotional growth: she developed genuine love for Tomoki, cherished head pats from him, and experienced depression without affection. Her loyalty manifested as fierce protectiveness, triggering aggression against threats to him.
Key developments include profound distress when Tomoki temporarily severed their bond, which she interpreted as abandonment, leading her to tearfully beg not to be discarded. She willingly sacrificed herself to carry Tomoki to Synapse, dissolving into nothing after her first smile. Tomoki's final wish later resurrected her. Her journey also uncovered suppressed memories of her past life and connection to Daedalus, Synapse's creator.
Her relationships center intensely on Tomoki; uniquely spared from his sexual harassment, she prioritizes his happiness above all. She forms friendships with fellow Angeloids Nymph and Astraea and exhibits a notable fondness for nurturing watermelons. Her background intertwines with Sohara Mitsuki, a human clone created by Daedalus to replace her original avatar—Tomoki’s deceased childhood friend.
