Description
Damos led Michina Town in ancient times. When a meteor threatened the land, Arceus intervened to destroy it, sustaining severe injuries and losing its sixteen Life Plates. Damos found and returned one plate, enabling Arceus's recovery. In gratitude, Arceus fused its Water, Grass, Earth, Electric, and Dragon plates into the Jewel of Life, transforming Michina's barren wasteland into fertile land. Damos pledged to return the Jewel during the next solar eclipse.

Despite his honorable intentions, Damos fell victim to betrayal by his lieutenant, Marcus, who sought to keep the Jewel to prevent Michina's return to desolation. Marcus used Bronzong's Hypnosis to control Damos, forcing him to present a fake jewel and orchestrate an attack on Arceus during the eclipse ceremony. This nearly caused Arceus to perish from silver water and electrical attacks, its vulnerability heightened after creating the Jewel. Both Damos and Marcus fell from the collapsing temple, with historical records falsely branding Damos the sole traitor.

Centuries later, Ash, Dawn, Brock, and Sheena—Damos's descendant—traveled back in time with Dialga's aid to correct events. They found Damos imprisoned before the betrayal. A spiky-eared Pichu, befriended earlier by Damos, aided his escape. Learning of Marcus's deception, Damos collaborated with the group to stop the attack. He used his innate ability to connect with Pokémon hearts, calming Marcus's controlled Pokémon and reaching Arceus to convey sincerity. The real Jewel was retrieved and returned, healing Arceus and mending their bond.

After correcting history, Damos ensured Michina's prosperity through diligent cultivation, disproving Marcus's fears. He carved a mural depicting Ash and his companions as a tribute. This engraving endured in the restored Michina ruins, signifying his restored legacy as a selfless leader.

Damos possessed the hereditary ability to communicate with Pokémon, contingent upon maintaining an anger-free heart. His known Pokémon included multiple Absol and Nidoking, used in land restoration, and the spiky-eared Pichu that aided his prison escape.
