Nestor Chiesse

Nestor Chiesse is a Brazilian actor and voice actor, born in Barra Mansa, Rio de Janeiro, on June 11, 1969. He is a graduate of the University of Rio de Janeiro (Uni-Rio), where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts with a qualification in Interpretation. His career in dubbing began in 1997 at the studio VTI, followed by a stint at Herbert Richers in 1998, before he moved to São Paulo in 2001 to continue his voice acting work.
Chiesse has built an extensive career voicing a wide array of characters in anime, animated series, and live-action productions. In anime, he is widely recognized for his long-running role as Drago in the various series of the Bakugan Battle Brawlers franchise. He is also the voice of All Might in the Portuguese dubs of My Hero Academia and its related films. Another iconic role is Hisoka in the 1999 version of Hunter X Hunter and its OVAs, a performance noted for its distinctive French accent.
His other prominent anime credits include Asuma Sarutobi in Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden, Solf J. Kimblee in Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Okuyasu Nijimura in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable and its OVA Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan. He has voiced characters in the Pokémon franchise, including Cyrus in Pocket Monsters: Diamond & Pearl, Damos in Pokémon: Arceus and the Jewel of Life, and Dr. Young in The Mastermind of Mirage Pokémon. His repertoire extends to films such as Dragon Ball Super: Broly, where he voices Lemo, and the role of Gild Tesoro in One Piece Film Gold.
