He has also worked as a voice director and script adapter for studios like 4Kids, NYAV Post, DuArt Film & Video, and Central Park Media.

Green is perhaps best known for his portrayal of the protagonist Yugi Muto and his ancient Egyptian counterpart, Yami Yugi, in the immensely popular series Yu-Gi-Oh! and its related films, including Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D: Bonds Beyond Time. His deep, resonant voice became synonymous with the character's dramatic transformations and iconic catchphrases. Another defining role came from the Pokémon franchise, where he provided the voice for the powerful, psychic Pokémon Mewtwo in several projects, including the film Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution. His connection to the Pokémon world is extensive; he also voiced Damos in Pokémon: Arceus and the Jewel of Life, Grovyle in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Darkness specials, Eugene in Pocket Monster Crystal: Raikou Ikazuchi no Densetsu, and numerous other characters throughout the series' long run.

Beyond his marquee roles, Green built a prolific career with a wide range of characters across various genres. He voiced Chirico Cuvie in Armored Trooper Votoms, the brooding Asato Tsuzuki in Descendants of Darkness, Aya Fujimiya in Knight Hunters Eternity, and Kôtarô Taiga in GaoGaiGar: King of the Braves. He was also a regular presence in many 4Kids productions, contributing to shows like Sonic X as the voice of Knuckles the Echidna, Winx Club as Sky, Kirby: Right Back At Ya! as the NME Salesman (Frontman), Shaman King as Silva, and Ultimate Muscle in multiple roles. His ability to portray both heroic leads and menacing antagonists made him a sought-after talent during the peak of anime's mainstream growth in the West.
