Description
Genya, originally Emmanuel von Folger (or von Volger), serves as the primary antagonist. He is the son of scientist Dr. Franken von Folger, who developed revolutionary clean energy technology. A decade before the main events, Emmanuel survived the Tragedy of Bashtarlle (or Bashtarle), a catastrophic energy experiment failure initiated by Dr. Shizuma against Franken's warnings. The reactor explosion devastated a country, caused global energy disruptions, and killed nearly a third of the world's population. Franken attempted to prevent the overload but failed. Emmanuel and his father escaped via Emmanuel's latent teleportation ability, believing Emmanuel's sister Farmelle and her caretaker Go Gakujin (Go-sama) perished.

Exiled beneath Bashtarlle's ruins, Franken deteriorated mentally and physically. When Emmanuel brought him a completed Shizuma Drive patented by Dr. Shizuma, a distraught Franken locked himself in a makeshift lab, emerging days later near death. His final words instructed Emmanuel to "stop Shizuma." After burying his father, Emmanuel vowed revenge against those who vilified his family. Renaming himself "Genya - The Beautiful Night," he joined the terrorist group Big Fire. Over the next decade, he leveraged its resources to advance his goals, rising to become a top operative under Big Fire's ruling cadre, the Magnificent Ten.

Genya masterminded "Operation: Earth Stands Still," deploying the "Eye of Volger" (or "Eye of Folger"). This spherical weapon, powered by hundreds of Shizuma Drives and two prototype anti-Shizuma drives, emitted a field causing Shizuma Drives to overload and shut down, crippling global infrastructure. Genya sought the third anti-Shizuma prototype to trigger worldwide energy collapse. After testing the Eye destroyed Paris, he targeted Shanghai, facing resistance from Interpol's "Experts of Justice." During this conflict, Genya discovered Expert Ginrei was his sister Farmelle, who survived the Tragedy.

Genya pursued Ginrei and the third prototype to the Experts' airship, the Greta Garbo, disguising himself as their deceased father to manipulate her. After the airship crashed in the Himalayas, he captured Daisaku Kusama, operator of the nuclear-powered Giant Robo. Using the hostage, Genya lured Ginrei and her ally Tetsugyu into a confrontation, revealing the truth behind Bashtarlle: Dr. Shizuma's recklessness caused the disaster, and their father was innocent. Though momentarily swaying Ginrei, Genya failed to secure the prototype after Daisaku intervened. Genya later killed Magnificent Ten member Alberto, who uncovered his true identity and threatened exposure.

Put on trial by the Magnificent Ten for his rogue agenda, Genya was spared by Big Fire strategist Shokatsu Komei, his mentor after Bashtarlle. Regaining control of the Eye of Volger, Genya targeted St. Abbey (the former Bashtarlle) to complete his revenge. He obtained the third prototype, expecting its activation to destroy all oxygen on Earth. Instead, the three anti-Shizuma drives synchronized, enhancing and restoring the global Shizuma network. This outcome contradicted Genya's belief in his father's vengeful legacy, revealing his misinterpretation of Franken's final words. The story concludes with Genya consumed by emptiness, his quest for vengeance rendered meaningless.
