Description
Mikio Shirato is the older brother of Yukiko Shirato and a member of the Shirato family, which controls the powerful Shirato Group. He is introduced as an engineer within the conglomerate, responsible for developing advanced megalo boxing gear. His most notable creation is the Ace, a state-of-the-art exoskeleton equipped with artificial intelligence that can read and predict an opponent's movements, formulating the perfect counters. Driven by a desire to prove his own worth, Mikio challenges the protagonist Joe while wearing the Ace gear he designed himself. After being defeated by Joe, he decides to retire from competition.
Following his defeat, Mikio shifts his focus to academia. He becomes a university professor, continuing his research and development activities as a scientist. This transition marks a significant change in his life, moving away from the competitive world of megalo boxing.
Mikio's personality is complex.
