Description
Takuya Kanbara, the athletic and justice-driven protagonist of *Digimon Frontier: Island of Lost Digimon*, leads fellow travelers on a desert Trailmon journey when they stumble upon warring human-type and beast-type Digimon factions. This conflict intensifies as the floating Lost Island materializes, transporting everyone to its dimension-trapped surface.
Separated from some companions upon arrival, Takuya finds refuge in a village of human-type Digimon, including Kotemon. There, he learns of the island's guardian deity, Ornismon and observes murals depicting Ornismon alongside the Legendary Warriors AncientGreymon and AncientGarurumon. The ongoing violence between the factions disturbs him. Witnessing the elder brothers Dinohyumon (human-type) and Grizzlymon (beast-type) dismiss the bond between Kotemon and Bearmon hardens Takuya's resolve to act. He spirit evolves into Agunimon alongside Koji as KendoGarurumon, temporarily halting the brothers' fight.
As full-scale warfare erupts, Takuya employs strategy, feigning alliance with Dinohyumon and the human-type army to create a diversion enabling Tommy and Kotemon's escape. Koji executes a similar tactic with the beast-type faction, highlighting Takuya's leadership in prioritizing friend safety. Confronted later by the battle's escalating brutality, he spirit evolves further into BurningGreymon alongside Koji as Lobomon. Their attempts to non-lethally subdue both armies initially provoke hostility from all sides.
The climax reveals the true antagonist, Murmukusmon, who manipulated the war to revive the malevolent Ornismon. Facing overwhelming power as Agunimon, Takuya fights on. Kotemon's sacrificial act to protect the murals, combined with Bearmon's grief, summons spectral manifestations of AncientGreymon and AncientGarurumon. Empowered by their presence, Takuya delivers the decisive blow defeating Murmukusmon. He then participates alongside the unified Legendary Warriors in Ornismon's final defeat.
