Description
Volpe serves as a primary antagonist alongside Gatto, initially exploiting Pinocchio's naivety through deceptive schemes like the Field of Miracles scam, convincing him to bury gold coins with false promises of wealth. This partnership highlights Volpe's manipulative financial exploitation.

Their betrayal escalates to physically endangering Pinocchio. Disguised as bandits, they ambush him in a forest, attempting to steal his coins and ultimately hanging him from a tree, leaving him for dead.

Captured by the villainous puppeteer Sneeroff and taken to Africa, Volpe's circumstances shift dramatically after a shipwreck strands them. Forced into an uneasy alliance with Pinocchio, they cooperate to escape Sneeroff's captivity.

In the final story phases, Volpe actively assists Pinocchio's mission to rescue Geppetto from Devil's Island. They participate in confrontations against antagonists, help thwart the puppeteer's schemes, and contribute directly to Sneeroff's arrest, demonstrating a clear shift from self-serving deception to cooperative redemption.
