Description
Demetan, a tree frog, endured early trauma when newts devoured most of his siblings during an attack; he barely escaped with his parents. This tragedy forced their relocation to Rainbow Pond, where they faced systemic discrimination and social exclusion as tree frogs occupied the pond's lowest societal rank.

Despite this hostile environment, Demetan forged a close friendship with Ranatan, daughter of Rainbow Pond's leader. Their bond faced opposition from her disapproving father due to the social divide, compelling them to meet in secret. Throughout their encounters, Demetan consistently demonstrated determination and loyalty, supporting Ranatan through various adversities.

Life in the pond exposed Demetan to frequent natural predators and persistent bullying from other inhabitants, creating a harsh and perilous existence. These experiences shaped his cautious yet resilient nature, leading him to seek reassurance from trusted individuals while exhibiting strong protective instincts toward those he cared about. He consistently prioritized others' needs, particularly evident in his efforts to shield friends and family from harm.

Over time, Demetan's perseverance and sincerity gradually influenced the pond community, challenging entrenched social prejudices and fostering a growing sense of unity. His journey culminated in collective action against external threats, leading to communal solidarity.

In condensed adaptations covering the full storyline, Demetan's development concludes with his role in achieving peace within Rainbow Pond, marking an end to the initial social conflicts and hardships.
