Description
Margaret Liones is the first princess of the Kingdom of Liones, eldest daughter of King Bartra Liones and older sister to Veronica Liones and her adoptive sister, Elizabeth Liones. Approximately 22 years old, she has distinctive pale purple, slightly wavy waist-length hair and light brown eyes. Her typical attire is a turquoise dress with a white collar and indigo shoulder fabric, though she wore a long black frilled dress during her imprisonment by the Holy Knights.

Characterized by a gentle, caring, and kind nature, Margaret shares Elizabeth's admiration for the Seven Deadly Sins as the kingdom's noble protectors. She views the Holy Knights as traitors for overthrowing her father. While her surrender during the conquest initially suggested cowardice, it was later revealed she acted under duress while imprisoned; Vivian controlled a Chimera that held Margaret hostage, coercing Gilthunder into serving the Holy Knights by threatening her safety.

Margaret shares a close childhood bond with Gilthunder, who vowed to be her personal knight. She witnessed the poisoning of Gilthunder's father, Zaratras, by Dreyfus and Hendrickson during the Kingdom Founding Day festival, an event that deeply traumatized her. After confiding this truth to Gilthunder, Vivian discovered them and used the Chimera to maintain control over both. Margaret remained imprisoned for over a decade until Meliodas destroyed the Chimera, freeing her. This led to her reconciliation and the start of a romantic relationship with Gilthunder; they shared a kiss before he temporarily left to atone for actions taken under duress.

During the Defensive Battle for Liones against the Ten Commandments, Margaret stayed within the castle but faced danger when Vivian, disguised as Gilfrost, abducted Gilthunder. Determined to rescue him, she journeyed with Hendrickson and Dreyfus. In the Corand arc, she attempted to fight demons but sustained injuries, demonstrating her limited combat skills despite wielding a rapier and wearing light armor. Her resolve led her to a Druid Altar, where she struck a deal with the Archangel Ludociel: he could possess her body in exchange for aiding Gilthunder. Ludociel noted her high affinity for his magic, making her an ideal vessel. Possessed, she confronted Vivian and facilitated Gilthunder's rescue but became trapped within her own consciousness while Ludociel maintained control.

In the New Holy War, Ludociel used Margaret's body in battles until Hendrickson expelled him during a weakened state, freeing her. She reunited with Gilthunder, and they married after the war's conclusion, having a son named Chion. During the Demon King arc, Margaret attended celebrations but declined inheriting the Liones throne alongside Gilthunder, believing them unsuited for rulership. Instead, she supported Elizabeth and Meliodas as successors. In the epilogue, set 18 months later, she expressed a desire for peaceful time with Gilthunder after their prolonged separations.

Margaret possesses no innate superhuman abilities, with a documented power level of 110—comprising minimal physical strength (10) but high spiritual resilience (100). Her weapon proficiency is rudimentary, as seen when she wielded a rapier erratically. Her hobbies include tea-drinking and dancing. She regrets moments of helplessness and aspires to a tranquil life with Gilthunder.
