Description
Kurenai Mishina stands out with her red hair, often tied with white ribbons, and brown eyes. While frequently seen in her school uniform, her attire varies with the situation.

Her personality blends a deeply tender core with a powerful sense of justice, driving her actions. However, mockery or disrespect quickly ignites her temper.

A defining childhood event involved her father, scientist Iván Mishina, introducing her to an entity called Namjaman. After both parents died, Kurenai moved in with her two older sisters, Aoi and Midori, their uncle, and a companion named Modoki. Her father co-discovered three of seven potent shooting stars and co-created the "Musumet" helmets. These devices amplify the wearer's inherent physical and mental abilities to extraordinary levels, adding only a helmet, gloves, and boots to their existing clothes. Inheriting the red star and its Musumet helmet following her father's death, Kurenai became "Musume Red." She and her sisters joined MET, the secret organization co-founded by her father and Dr. Kishida, dedicated to protecting Earth from threats linked to the remaining stars and pursuing global peace.

As a teenager, Kurenai balances school life and typical adolescent concerns with her demanding duties as a hero. MET's urgent emergency calls compel her to transform and respond immediately, regardless of her current attire—be it her uniform, swimsuit, or other outfits.

Her relationships are complex. She shares a bond of mutual support and affection with her sisters Aoi (Musume Blue) and Midori (Musume Green), working alongside them as a cohesive hero team despite occasional sibling clashes. A persistent rivalry exists with the Saotome sisters—Shion, Marcia, and Kou. Though personal friction is common, they demonstrate professional collaboration when operating as heroines. A significant connection is her friendship with Yamato Shirai, which deepens into romantic attraction after she sees her words inspire him to reclaim his heroic resolve during a crisis tied to his parents' funeral. Like her sisters, Kurenai harbors typical adolescent romantic aspirations, often hindered by her heroic responsibilities.
