Description
Lei Wulong, a Hong Kong police detective, teams up with Interpol agent Jun Kazama to dismantle the Mishima Zaibatsu’s criminal network, which spans illegal animal experimentation and organized crime. Disguised as a competitor, he infiltrates Heihachi Mishima’s King of Iron Fist Tournament to covertly gather evidence. During the mission, Lei allies with Jun and supports Jack-2, an android striving to secure medical treatment for Jane, a terminally ill child.
Leveraging tactical expertise, Lei breaches the island’s underground laboratory, navigating encounters with genetically modified entities like Roger, a boxing kangaroo, and hostile Prototype Jack units. He aids Jack-2 in liberating Dr. Bosconovitch, a coerced scientist behind unethical experiments, and orchestrates their escape. When the facility initiates a self-destruct sequence, Lei evacuates Bosconovitch and Jane while Jack-2 sacrifices itself to keep an exit clear amid collapsing debris.
Consistently prioritizing justice over personal engagement, Lei avoids tournament combat, concentrating on intelligence gathering and sabotaging Zaibatsu operations. His efforts help expose the organization’s atrocities, though the Mishima family’s internal feud persists unresolved. Surviving the island’s destruction, Lei exits alongside other survivors, his post-mission endeavors left undocumented.
Lei’s background, motivations, and relationships beyond his collaboration with Jun and the Zaibatsu investigation remain unexplored in the narrative, with no elaboration on his personal history or future activities.
