Description
Based on your Aztec origins as a god of music, dance, mischief, and chaos, Huehuecoyotl exists among the Anothers. Centuries ago, the mystic Abe no Seimei encountered this shapeshifting trickster and named them Kohaku for their amber eyes, a name still used alongside the original. In human form, Huehuecoyotl presents an androgynous figure, often favoring a feminine visage, long indigo hair, and those striking amber eyes. Their attire shifts fluidly, mirroring occasion or whim, from formal wear to casual styles, while their gender remains unspecified and fluid.

Driven by eternal boredom and a craving for amusement, Huehuecoyotl embodies chaotic neutrality. Their behavior is wildly unpredictable: they might aid humans or intervene to protect allies like Arata Miyako from threats such as Cerberus, yet just as readily spark conflicts or watch harm unfold without lifting a finger. They manipulate events purely for diversion, exemplified by orchestrating corpse relocation through a ritual with the Another Kisha. Relationships span both benign and malevolent Anothers, including Azazel and Belphegor, highlighting their moral ambiguity.

Huehuecoyotl's interest in Arata Miyako stems from Arata's resemblance to Abe no Seimei, perceived as a recurring source of engagement across lifetimes. This history creates a complex dynamic: Huehuecoyotl may act protectively towards Arata occasionally, yet remains fundamentally self-serving and unbound by human loyalties. Their core traits—immortal ennui, capriciousness, and indifference to collateral damage—persist unaltered throughout their appearances across manga, anime, and ancillary media, without significant redemption or moral evolution.
