Description
Kanji Mochizuki, known as Mocchi, cuts an imposing figure at 192 cm with a powerful build, towering over most. His distinctive rattail mohawk features a braid reaching his lower neck, paired with sharp, angular eyebrows enhancing his intense features. He favors a black shirt beneath his red Tenjiku uniform.
Born March 9, 1988, Mochizuki led the Jugem gang before incarceration. During this time, he repeatedly clashed with and defeated the Twin Devils Gang, led by Souya and Nahoya Kawata. His assault on a police officer landed him in juvenile detention alongside other delinquents born in 1987-1988. This cohort formed the S-62 Generation, uniting influential figures like Izana Kurokawa, Yasuhiro Muto, Ran and Rindo Haitani, and Shion Madarame. Their alliance evolved into the Tenjiku criminal organization.
Mochizuki displays a brusque, belligerent personality, eagerly seeking physical confrontations. Yet he adheres to a personal code of honor, demanding fair one-on-one fights and scorning underhanded tactics. He becomes notably excited when facing formidable opponents.
As one of Tenjiku's Four Heavenly Kings, Mochizuki ranks among its strongest fighters. His overwhelming strength is evident when he launched Chifuyu Matsuno airborne with a single punch, engaging him on near-equal terms and earning the nickname "Gorilla" from Matsuno. He also defeated both Smiley (Nahoya Kawata) and Angry (Souya Kawata) in conflicts.
After Tenjiku dissolved, Mochizuki joined Rokuhara Tandai as its Number 4 executive. He later assumed high-ranking positions in both Bonten and the Kanto Manji Gang, serving as an executive under Manjiro Sano, demonstrating sustained authority across multiple underworld organizations.
His trivia includes a preference for corn despite disliking it getting stuck in his teeth, an image color of caramel, and proficiency in arm wrestling. He respects Izana Kurokawa but dislikes Shion Madarame. His given name, Kanji (完爾), means "complete," while his surname, Mochizuki (望月), translates to "wish, desire, hope" and "moon," collectively signifying "full moon."
