Description
Luke Braveheart commands the Nine Soldiers, an elite force defending the world's remaining Soul Futures against annihilation by the Voids. Born in the Kingdom of Light to a lineage of heroes, he inherits the legendary King Brave Sword as a family heirloom. Orphaned and without immediate kin, he trained in combat from childhood to uphold his family's heroic legacy.

Initially stoic and mission-focused, Luke displays arrogance and mistrust, particularly toward Natsuko Hirose during their first encounter. He deems her obscured appearance suspicious and bars her from the Nine Soldiers, citing reservations about including women—a stance Memmeln disputes. Beneath this exterior lies a kindhearted nature; he cannot ignore those in distress. He exhibits shyness around groups of young women and social awkwardness, especially regarding romance, yet excels at cooking as a personal hobby.

His relationships evolve significantly. He harbored profound romantic feelings for teammate Destiny Heartwarming; her death deeply impacts him, fueling his eventual despair. With Natsuko, initial hostility transforms into reliance and romantic attachment. He clumsily confesses his feelings mid-battle, marking his first experience of love. As leader of the Nine Soldiers, he faces friction with Unio and Memmeln—the latter exposed as a cultist colluding with the Voids. Justice advises him on relationships, aiding his interactions with Natsuko.

In combat, Luke wields exceptional swordsmanship as a primary fighter. The King Brave Sword amplifies his abilities against the Voids. Emotional vulnerability proves his critical weakness: Destiny’s loss triggers his transformation into the Super Void after he destroys the final Soul Future in despair, blaming it for his suffering. As the Ultimate Void, he causes the apocalypse in his original timeline.

Natsuko’s interference alters his fate. She prevents Destiny’s death and Memmeln’s transformation, reducing losses among the Nine Soldiers. Luke’s bond with Natsuko offers him newfound purpose and joy. Yet when Natsuko appears to die during a Void attack, he again succumbs to despair and destroys the last Soul Future, repeating his transformation. Natsuko counters by creating a Scribble version of Luke to defeat the Ultimate Void. The world’s restoration revives fallen comrades and renews five kingdoms. Luke survives, vows to reunite with Natsuko across dimensions, and succeeds when he and the Nine Soldiers transition into the real world.
