Description
Lightning is a French Bulldog and a core member of the Awesome Brawlers in Bakugan: Geogan Rising. Originally a stray that Dan Kouzo found behind his home, Lightning became the team’s unofficial mascot and an active participant in their adventures. Despite being non‑human, he is recognized as a capable brawler who uses Darkus‑attribute Bakugan. During the earlier seasons his partner was the wolf‑like Howlkor, but by Geogan Rising a new partner, Darkus Ferascal, took that role. He also wields the Darkus Geogan known as Montrapod. A small ball attached to his collar allows Lightning to carry and deploy his Bakugan in battle.
Lightning’s personality is a blend of relaxed domesticity and sharp instinctual awareness. He spends downtime sleeping, eating, or playing with the Bakugan around Dan’s house and is often described as happy, dumpy, and not particularly fast.
