Description
Miku Izayoi, codenamed Diva, emerges in the human world during March and enrolls at Rindouji Girls' Academy in April. Initially an antagonist turned central heroine, she commands widespread fame as an idol singer, channeling her vocal abilities for both entertainment and combat. Her human past saw her debut at fifteen under the stage name Tsukino Yoimachi, but her career shattered after rejecting a producer's advances. Fabricated scandals turned her fans against her, inducing psychogenic aphonia that silenced her singing voice. Driven to suicidal despair, she encountered Phantom, who transformed her into a Spirit and restored her voice. Reborn as Miku Izayoi, she wielded her powers to erase her former identity from public memory and performed exclusively for female audiences, harboring intense hatred for the male fans who once dominated her following.

This misandry, born from betrayal by male supporters and industry figures, defined her early persona: cold, manipulative, and arrogant. She treated women as expendable servants while deploying her Angel Gabriel—an organ emitting sound-based mind control—through songs like "March" for mass hypnosis and "Solo" for defensive barriers. These vocal projections could be thwarted by earplugs or vocal strain. Her pivotal confrontation involved Shido Itsuka, whom she initially knew only as the cross-dressing "Shiori." After Shido defeated her in a school competition, she retaliated by enslaving fellow Spirits, exposing his true gender, and inciting a city-wide manhunt against him.

Her evolution began during Shido and Kurumi's rescue of Tohka from DEM Industries. Witnessing Shido's selflessness contradicted her belief in universal male selfishness. She aided him against DEM under the pretense of reclaiming Tohka but gradually questioned her prejudices. When Shido shielded her from Ellen Mathers' assault and Inverse Tohka's power—fulfilling his vow to remain her fan even if the world abandoned her—and empathized with her trauma, Miku accepted the sealing of her Spirit powers.

Post-sealing, she retained her flirtatious, physically affectionate nature but discarded her hatred of men. She openly dotes on Shido, calling him "darling," and lavishes attention on female Spirits like Tohka and Natsumi, though her advances often irritate them. She actively encourages bonds within Shido's harem while exhibiting a childlike demeanor, preferring female companionship without her former cruelty. In battles, she utilizes residual powers like barrier generation, collaborating with other Spirits to protect allies from threats such as Inverse manifestations and Choronzon.

Later events prompted reflection on her past "awfulness" and a quest for redemption. Nearly killed fighting Tohka's Inverse doppelganger, she was saved by Tohka, who affirmed Miku's inherent goodness and capacity for change. This cemented Miku's resolve to atone. She actively supports Shido during crises, rallying other Spirits to confront existential threats by questioning their bonds with him.

Physically, Miku has light indigo hair, silver eyes, and stands 165 cm tall. Her Astral Dress combines yellow fabric with blue-white ruffles, adorned with crescent moons and lilies. As a student, she wears a deep blue sailor uniform.
