Description
Bartolomeo, infamously dubbed "Bartolomeo the Cannibal," rose from his origins as an East Blue mob boss. His life pivoted dramatically upon witnessing Monkey D. Luffy's defiant survival during a near-execution at Loguetown; this impossible feat ignited a fanatical devotion, compelling him to abandon crime and set sail as a pirate, fervently tracking the Straw Hat Pirates' every move.

He captains the Barto Club and ascended to command the second ship of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet after swearing loyalty to Luffy during the Dressrosa conflict. His initial bounty of 150,000,000 berries surged to 200,000,000 berries post-Dressrosa due to his actions.

Bartolomeo wields the power of the Bari Bari no Mi, a Paramecia Devil Fruit. By crossing his fingers, he conjures near-indestructible barriers capable of forming walls, cylinders, stairs, and offering soundproofing. A key restriction limits him to maintaining only one barrier simultaneously. These defenses have repelled devastating assaults, including the fortress-shattering King Punch. He also augments his physical attacks with barrier-enhanced strikes.

His personality merges vulgarity, provocation, and violence with fierce loyalty. He curses freely, flips off opponents, and notoriously urinated during the Corrida Colosseum tournament, earning him the audience's hatred. He disregards others' opinions and possesses a history of attacking civilians. Yet, he demonstrates intense protectiveness towards his crew, exemplified by his assault on Vice Admiral Maynard for harming his subordinate Gambia.

His devotion to the Straw Hats borders on worship. He addresses crew members with "-senpai," collects their memorabilia, and rages at any criticism against them. He entered the Corrida Colosseum aiming to win the Mera Mera no Mi as a tribute for Luffy. Despite his aggression, he displays moments of honor, such as rescuing fellow fighter Bellamy from Dellinger because they "fought together as friends." Direct interaction with Luffy triggers extreme shyness, causing stuttering or fainting.

Bartolomeo attended Uta's concert on Elegia in *One Piece Film: Red*. When Uta trapped the Straw Hats using her Sing-Sing Fruit powers, he aided Trafalgar Law in freeing Luffy. Throughout the conflict, he provided defensive support with his barriers and battled the demonic entity Tot Musica, actively protecting the Straw Hats amidst the chaos involving Marines and Uta's dream world.

His distinctive speech incorporates the dialectal copula "-dabe." He shares a contentious rivalry with Cavendish, reminiscent of the dynamic between Sanji and Zoro. His vessel, the *Going Luffy-senpai*, proudly displays Luffy-themed designs, featuring a pre-timeskip figurehead and dark crimson sails.
