Mosè Singh
Description
Mosè Singh is an Italian voice actor born in Turin on February 6, 1997. His journey into the world of dubbing began in his childhood, sparked by a fascination with the voices of animated characters. A pivotal moment came when he noticed a change in the voice of a character from the anime One Piece, which led him to discover the profession of dubbing. His inspiration was Gianluca Iacono, the Italian voice of Vegeta from Dragon Ball, a character to whom Singh felt a deep connection. With the support of his family, he pursued this passion by first studying theater and acting, starting in 2010, and later taking diction and dubbing courses with Ivo De Palma. This foundation in live performance, combined with formal dubbing training, prepared him for his professional entry into the field in 2015 or 2016.
Singh has built a prolific career voicing a wide array of prominent anime characters, demonstrating considerable range. He is well-known for his portrayal of the cowardly yet powerful Zenitsu Agatsuma in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, a role for which he has received significant attention. His other notable anime roles include the energetic Shiki Granbell in Edens Zero, the cunning Hacker in Akudama Drive, and the hot-headed Ren Tao in the 2021 version of Shaman King. He also voices the determined Denji in Chainsaw Man, the charismatic Manjirō "Mikey" Sano in Tokyo Revengers, and Damian Desmond in Spy×Family. His repertoire extends to classic and long-running series, such as taking on the role of Shinpachi Shimura in Gintama and Toshiro Hitsugaya in Bleach and its sequel, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. He has also voiced protagonists like Shigeo "Mob" Kageyama in Mob Psycho 100 and Sunraku in Shangri-La Frontier.
Beyond these central roles, his filmography includes voicing Joker in Fire Force, Koko in Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle, Tsuneo Suzukawa in Josee, The Tiger and the Fish, Daisuke Motomiya in Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, the robot S566 in the anime Eden, Sōma Ogata in Seven Days War, Gladio in Pokémon Journeys: The Series, and Minoru Kaigamori in the Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan OAV.
In addition to his work in front of the microphone, Mosè Singh has expanded his role within the industry. In 2022, he began working as a dubbing director, guiding the Italian voice productions for projects such as Pokémon: Path to the Peak and City Hunter The Movie: Angel Dust. He has also worked as a dialogist and translator, contributing to series like Dragon Ball Super. This combination of performance, direction, and adaptation showcases his comprehensive understanding of the craft. Singh has expressed a particular fondness for characters like Ren Tao from Shaman King, Bartolomeo from One Piece, and Zenitsu Agatsuma, noting the personal connection he feels to the roles he plays.
