Description
Guila, daughter of Holy Knight Dale and older sister of Zeal, begins as an apprentice Holy Knight in Liones with limited power. She consumes demon blood through the New Generation initiative under Helbram's mentorship, gaining formidable abilities. This act later fuels regret when she uncovers the Holy Knights' corruption and questions their motives.

Slim with long black hair and distinctive narrow eyes, Guila transitions from simple white clothing to full armor after early clashes with the Seven Deadly Sins. Disciplined and loyal, she masks deep insecurity and emotional vulnerability. Protecting Zeal is her core motivation, driving her to extreme actions like self-sacrifice or betrayal. She exhibits sarcastic wit and develops introspection as her allegiances shift.

She wields a rapier and later a lance, employing Explosion magic for controlled detonations. Demon blood grants her Hellblaze—black flames with demonic properties. Over 16 years, she refines these powers, achieving the rank of Vice Great Holy Knight (the first female to hold this position) and mastering a Demon Form that enhances her physical strength and explosive output. Her power level totals 1,350 (Magic: 700, Strength: 400, Spirit: 250).

Guila's devotion to Zeal compels her demon blood consumption, though she regrets it. Fellow knight Jericho reveals their father's death, catalyzing Guila's betrayal of the Holy Knights. A brief, brainwashed romantic involvement with Gowther ends with her forgiveness and lingering emotional ambiguity. Her dynamic with Princess Veronica shifts from hostility to mutual respect, culminating in Veronica becoming her swordsmanship student after recognizing Guila's protective motives toward Zeal.

Her story arcs include antagonistic pursuits: infiltrating the Capital of the Dead by impaling herself to battle Meliodas, Diane, and Ban; and unknowingly destroying her father's remains under Helbram's orders during the Vaizel Fight Festival and Armor Giant incident. Her pivotal betrayal occurs defending Diane and Zeal from rubble, opposing the Holy Knights and allying temporarily with Gowther. Post-conflict, she reconciles with Liones, rises to Vice Great Holy Knight, masters her demonic powers, and maintains vigilance over Zeal. Years later, she confronts Jericho as an enemy when Jericho joins Camelot's knights, reflecting kingdom tensions.
