Haumea possesses a thin, curvy frame and long pale-blonde hair, usually secured in a bun with face-framing bangs. A distinctive golden crown-like visor obscures most facial features, leaving only her mouth visible, while a power button inside a sun tattoo adorns her left shoulder. She wears a baggy white onesie revealing shoulders, upper arms, and the sides of her breasts, layered over dark fabric, complemented by white sandal-like shoes. A third eye manifests on her forehead after connecting with the Evangelist.
Born constantly hearing humanity's collective unconscious, Haumea endured overwhelming exposure to its darkest thoughts from infancy. This triggered severe mental strain by age five, awakening her Adolla Burst. To cope, she adopted violent sadism, redirecting psychological torment outward through cruelty. At that age, accompanied by 17-year-old Charon, she executed the Evangelist's order to abduct the newly awakened Third Pillar, Shō Kusakabe. During this mission, she manipulated Mari Kusakabe (Shō and Shinra's mother) into becoming an Infernal to facilitate Shō's capture.
Initially presenting as quiet and nonchalant, Haumea exhibits playful enthusiasm for her schemes, often revealing excessive information about the White-Clad's goals. Her personality blends confidence, impulsivity, and childlike irritability—particularly when her abilities fail, such as against Arthur Boyle's plasma-based powers. Mood swings and foul-mouthed outbursts mask profound sadness and instability stemming from perpetual telepathic bombardment. Despite her misanthropy, she shows deep loyalty to Charon, who provided unconditional love throughout her life, displaying genuine distress when he is harmed.
A Third Generation pyrokinetic ("Electric Shock User"), Haumea generates electricity to destroy electronics, manipulate neurotransmitters for precise mind control, and read thoughts via "Talking Head." Her "Radiohead" technique enables long-distance communication through electrical signals. She uses electromagnetism for mobility, landing safely from heights or attaching to metal structures. Plasma nullifies her abilities, a critical weakness.
As the Second Pillar, her Adolla Burst grants extrasensory perception, tracking high-speed battles and events within Adolla hallucinations. She exerts limited control over Demon Infernals and performs painful rituals to summon Doppelgänger Demons. After acquiring abilities from deceased Pillars (Fifth and Seventh), she gains Iris's Divine Protection, Inca's future sight, and Sumire's vibration powers. Merging with the Evangelist (Amaterasu) enables her to fire destructive "light of madness" beams, rendering her functionally invulnerable, even in stopped time.
Throughout key events, Haumea observes battles in the Netherworld, intervenes post-fight between Shinra and Shō, and openly declares the White-Clad's intent to trigger a new Great Disaster using Adolla Burst. She manipulates Special Fire Force Company 4 members to provoke Shinra and locates the Fifth Pillar, Inca, via telepathy. Later, she unveils the White-Clad's plan to transform Earth into a sun-like inferno and participates in rituals advancing the Great Cataclysm.
