Description
Nadia, born in America, launched her law enforcement career with the Los Angeles Police Department. She rose to the SWAT division, showcasing exceptional skill as a sharpshooter and competing in the U.S. Army's International Sniper Competition at Fort Benning, Georgia. Increasingly concerned about bioterrorism and B.O.W. warfare, she retired from the LAPD and enlisted with the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA), a UN-sanctioned counter-terror force.
By 2014, she completed BSAA training and joined the elite Silver Dagger unit under Captain Chris Redfield. This team operated with high-level clearance, advanced weaponry, and authorization for missions beyond North America. Specializing in reconnaissance and sniper operations, Nadia utilized equipment like a portable railgun. She maintained a personal life with a partner in San Francisco during this period.
In mid-2014, Silver Dagger responded to Cannibal Disease outbreaks near the Great Lakes. The team traveled to Chicago's Alexander Institute of Biotechnology to collaborate with researcher Rebecca Chambers, finding the lab overrun by infected individuals. Nadia assisted in containing the outbreak, later covered up by the U.S. government as a mass shooting. She later accompanied the team to Colorado to recruit federal agent Leon S. Kennedy, questioning Rebecca about her transition from special operations to science.
When intelligence revealed Glenn Arias planned an A-Virus attack on New York City, Nadia monitored BSAA and NYPD SWAT coordination. She arranged delivery of an armored truck and Ducati Xdiavel motorcycle for Chris and Leon's ground mission. While airborne in a VTOL aircraft with teammate D.C., she destroyed virus-dispersing tankers using aerial cannons. Confronting Arias—mutated into a hybrid Tyrant—Nadia saved Leon by firing a sniper railgun from the aircraft, severely injuring Arias and destroying part of his mutated form. Arias retaliated, impaling the aircraft and stabbing Nadia through the shoulder. She survived the injury and later assisted in dispersing the A-Virus vaccine across New York, halting the outbreak.
Characterized by technical expertise in long-range combat and reconnaissance, Nadia maintained a friendly demeanor and was noted among teammates for appreciating the television series *Breaking Bad*.
