Description
Godo enters existence as a test-tube baby, gestated and raised entirely within a hermetically sealed, mechanized environment. From infancy through adolescence into young adulthood, faceless robot arms and automated systems monitor his development, administer tests, and fulfill his physical needs. This sterile upbringing occurs without direct human contact, resulting in limited understanding of social norms.

His sole emotional connection during this period is Olga, a shapeshifting android assigned as his caregiver. She provides maternal affection, playfulness, and companionship, becoming his primary source of emotional support. Godo's world expands when he enters a fighter pilot academy, a path predetermined by societal assessment prior to his birth. During training, his instructor Volkan orders him to kill small, sentient alien creatures as an empathy-suppression exercise. Recognizing their intelligence and terror, Godo refuses with the exclamation, "They're human beings!" This act of defiance leads Volkan to execute the creatures himself, exposing Godo to the brutal devaluation of life in this future society.

Godo develops romantic feelings for Lena, the daughter of a high-ranking official named Lord Eat. Their relationship violates strict social stratification laws forbidding unions across classes. Lena is already engaged to Rock, a powerful figure who discovers the affair. As punishment, Rock condemns Godo to imprisonment in an Icelandic mining facility. The prison, illuminated by oppressive red lighting, forces inmates to extract energy from Earth's mantle under harsh conditions.

While incarcerated, Godo encounters the chief warden. He orchestrates an escape by winning a staged fistfight against this authority figure. Accompanied by fellow prisoner Dr. Saruta, Godo flees Earth aboard the Space Shark spacecraft. He reunites with Olga and her companion Pincho. Saruta reveals their mission objective: capture the Phoenix, a cosmic entity designated as "Unidentified Creature/Recognition No. 2772," believed to hold immense power. Rock also seeks the Phoenix, intending to harness it to revitalize Earth's depleted resources. Godo pilots the Space Shark through space, engaging in conflicts like a dogfight where Olga disables pursuing fighters.

The journey takes them to an alien planet where new companions join. Godo's experiences culminate in confronting the Phoenix while grappling with Earth's impending ecological collapse caused by unchecked resource exploitation.
