Description
Originally named Ariel, Elita-1 shared a romance with Orion Pax before the Cybertronian war erupted. She once idolized Megatron until his betrayal drove her to align with Orion Pax, now Optimus Prime, joining the Autobot resistance against the Decepticons. Centuries of relentless warfare chipped away at her hope, leaving her questioning their purpose amidst Cybertron's ruins and vanishing resources.

Covering the retreat of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Wheeljack during an energon mission, she enabled their escape by destroying a bridge. Later, she warned Optimus about potential traps concerning Ultra Magnus's surrender and the AllSpark coordinates; her caution proved justified when the mission ended in ambush and Autobot losses. She openly challenged the strategic value of the AllSpark quest, arguing it diverted vital focus from immediate survival, though she ultimately followed Optimus's orders.

She opposed trusting the defecting Decepticon Jetfire and objected to the dangerous journey into the Sea of Rust for the AllSpark. When Shockwave's virus crippled Autobot defenses and exposed their base, she coordinated efforts to power the failing Ark for launch. Refusing evacuation alongside Optimus Prime, she chose to remain on Cybertron with Chromia, Red Alert, and Jetfire to continue resisting Decepticon occupation after the Ark departed.

Assuming command of the remaining Autobot resistance, Elita-1 relocated operations to Ratchet's abandoned clinic. Her forces executed hit-and-run attacks. During one raid, she freed imprisoned Decepticons against Jetfire's protests, motivated by uncertainty about internal Decepticon conflicts, highlighting the complex moral judgments she faced as a wartime leader.

Her key relationships included serving as Optimus Prime's lieutenant and strategic advisor, mentoring Bumblebee as he embraced the Alpha Trion Protocols, maintaining distrust towards turncoats like Jetfire despite his cooperation, and collaborating closely with Chromia and Red Alert in resistance operations.
