Description
Yukichi Fukuzawa is a tall, silver-haired man with piercing metallic blue eyes, clad in traditional Japanese garments—a green yukata and black haori edged in gold—that underscore his rejection of Western fashion. His stern demeanor and authoritative aura contrast with a hidden gentleness: he carries cat treats in his sleeves and softens for children, exemplified when he welcomes Kyōka Izumi into the Armed Detective Agency after her earnest plea.

Once a government assassin dubbed the "Silver Wolf," Fukuzawa abandoned violence, disillusioned by bloodshed, and shifted to bodyguarding. A pivotal encounter with Ranpo Edogawa, a gifted yet isolated youth, spurred him to found the Armed Detective Agency. Serving as Ranpo’s mentor, he shaped the organization into both a haven for societal outcasts and a channel for Ranpo’s brilliance, aided by Sōseki Natsume’s provision of a license for ability-related investigations.

His ability, *All Men Are Equal*, stabilizes subordinates’ powers through rigorous exams ensuring alignment with the agency’s ideals. Manifesting as he embraced leadership, it embodies his belief in order and equity. He fiercely guards his team, suspending missions to rescue imperiled members and forbidding reckless endangerment.

A martial arts master trained in *kote gaeshi* and *iaido* at a government school, Fukuzawa remains undefeated by protégé Doppo Kunikida. His strategic acumen and ethics anchor Yokohama’s Tripartite Framework, a fragile alliance with the Port Mafia and government.

Critical trials challenge his resolve: during the Cannibalism incident, he barred his team from shielding him to avert citywide collapse, and in the Skyfall Five Decay arc, he bargained with Port Mafia leader Ōgai Mori to restore the agency’s honor. His bond with childhood rival Ōchi Fukuchi fractures during the vampire outbreak, culminating in a duel. Though Fukuchi sought to unite armies to end war, Fukuzawa spares him, only for another to strike the fatal blow.

Through these trials, Fukuzawa’s leadership merges compassion with resolve, championing equality and safeguarding the marginalized. His legacy endures in the agency’s pursuit of justice amid moral ambiguity, cementing his role as both shield and guide.
