Erick Selim is a Mexican actor and voice actor known for his work in Latin American Spanish dubbing for anime series, films, and video games. He was born on July 1, 1991, in Mexico City. His interest in performance began at an early age; he started taking acting and theater classes in elementary school at the age of five and continued to participate in regional theater productions and acting competitions throughout his adolescence. He pursued this passion formally, earning a university degree in acting in 2011. His initial foray into performance was through theater, beginning in 2006, before he transitioned into dubbing. He later studied dubbing in Mexico City under the guidance of voice actor Carlos Segundo.

Selim's career in dubbing encompasses a wide range of roles across different media. He is particularly recognized for his contributions to anime, having lent his voice to a variety of characters. Among his notable anime roles are Kōjirō Joe Nanjō in the series SK8 the Infinity, a part he has reprised for subsequent OVA releases. He also voiced Kazuhiko Sugihara in the comedy series Back Street Girls: Gokudolls, the enigmatic Joker in Fire Force, and Kubo in the Netflix anime series Vampire in the Garden. His other anime credits include the character Ozma in AMAZING STRANGER and the Masked Lord in the second season of Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World.

Beyond anime, Selim has performed in high-profile dubbing projects for major studios. A prominent example is his role as the voice of the space ranger Buzz Lightyear in the Latin American Spanish dub of the 2022 Pixar film Lightyear, taking over the iconic character for this standalone adventure. In addition to his work in animation, he is active as a radio host, currently serving as a presenter for the program Toonlandya. He is also involved in the voice acting community, holding the position of Press and Social Media officer for the strike committee of ANDA, the National Association of Actors in Mexico.
