Description
Noshishi is one of twin boar brothers serving as deuteragonists and constant companions to the protagonist. He is the younger twin, distinguished from his elder brother Ishishi by a mole on his right cheek and a higher-pitched voice. Both wear identical attire: green shorts, an orange vest, occasionally accessorized with a green scarf and blue umbrellas slung over their backs. Their physical resemblance is otherwise near-perfect.

Personality-wise, Noshishi shares his brother's love for sweet foods and mischief, delighting in schemes and pranks while demonstrating unwavering loyalty to their leader. Though generally aligned in temperament with Ishishi, Noshishi possesses a distinct talent for drawing, showcased when he accurately reproduced a genie's likeness from memory.

A significant piece of their history appears in the 1993 film adaptation, where Noshishi mentions they took an oath not to return to their village until becoming "real villains." This motivation is not revisited or elaborated upon in subsequent series, films, or spin-offs.

Throughout all appearances in TV series, films, and OVAs, Noshishi and Ishishi operate as a unit, providing comic relief, occasional fourth-wall breaks, and steadfast assistance in their leader's endeavors. No significant divergence in Noshishi's role or character growth occurs separately from his brother across any official continuations or adaptations. Their dynamic remains consistently focused on collective participation in the central trio's escapades.
