Shuichi Iguchi, known as Spinner, possesses a reptilian mutation featuring green scales, a gecko-like face, and long pinkish-purple hair swept backward. He initially adopted a villain costume mimicking Stain, including a sleeveless shirt, baggy pants, a red scarf, bandaged arms, and a multi-blade sword. Later, he switched to civilian attire like a light blue hoodie and a black leather jacket. Following Quirk enhancements, his Body Bulk form darkened his scales, increased his size and musculature, and granted a more animalistic appearance; scars remained visible after the Final War. Discriminated against for his appearance and labeled "Lizard Freak," he lived as a recluse until Stain's televised ideology inspired him. Believing the League of Villains shared Stain's goal of purging corrupt heroes, he joined them, only to later realize their aims diverged. Spinner intensely admired Stain's philosophy, initially copying his clothing and weaponry to achieve Stain's vision of a society with only "true heroes." This devotion led him to protect Izuku Midoriya—whom Stain deemed worthy—from League allies like Magne. He frequently challenged the League's actions when they contradicted Stain's ideals, such as attacking police convoys. His loyalty gradually shifted to Tomura Shigaraki, bonding over shared interests like video games. He viewed the League as found family, urging Toga to return safely after Twice's death, yet resented All For One's manipulation of Shigaraki. Insecure about his perceived weakness compared to other League members, he accepted additional Quirks from All For One, worsening his mental state. Forced into a leadership role for heteromorphs, he became a symbol against mutant discrimination but felt unworthy, intensifying his resolve to act for Shigaraki. Post-Final War, hospitalized and arrested, he expressed bitterness toward Izuku for Shigaraki's death. After receiving Shigaraki's final message through Izuku, he vowed to write a book about the League's legacy and encouraged Mezo Shoji to live fully. His original Gecko Quirk allowed wall-crawling but offered minimal combat utility, restricting him to urban environments. All For One augmented him with two additional Quirks: Body Bulk, increasing his size and muscle mass, and Scalemail, coating him in metallic scales for offense and defense. Using these Quirks caused severe mental strain, reducing his speech to fragments and inducing feral behavior. Scalemail ruptured his skin, causing pain and bleeding. Despite these changes, he retained tactical awareness, noting Shigaraki's Quirk evolution and enemy vulnerabilities. In combat, he fought Mandalay evenly until his sword was destroyed, fended off Meta Liberation Army soldiers, and battled heroes like Mezo Shoji and Present Mic during the Final War using his enhanced Quirks. His physical capabilities included enhanced strength, agility, and durability, especially after augmentation. Spinner first appeared with the Vanguard Action Squad during the Forest Training Camp arc, citing Stain's ideals. He participated in the Shie Hassaikai arc and helped rebrand the League as the Paranormal Liberation Front, coining its name. During the Paranormal Liberation War, he guarded Shigaraki's recovering body and confronted All For One's possession attempt. In the Final War, he led a heteromorph rebellion but lost their support after reckless destruction. His story concluded with arrest and his commitment to documenting the League's history.
