Felix Spieß, born on August 17, 1972, in Ludwigsburg, Germany, is a German actor and voice actor who has built a prolific career in dubbing, with a significant body of work in anime. His path to voice acting began after an initial focus on theater and music. He pursued acting training in Berlin and was involved in various theater projects before dedicating himself to music as the guitarist for the Berlin band delicate from 1994 to 2003. A friend in the music industry who was also working in dubbing studios sparked his interest in voice acting. In the realm of anime and animation, Felix Spieß is recognized for lending his voice to a wide array of characters. He is known to anime fans for his role as the Namekian warrior Piccolo in the German dubs of Dragon Ball Z Kai and Dragon Ball Super. His voice can also be heard as the disciplined Inspector Nobuchika Ginoza in the psychological thriller Psycho-Pass and its film Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System. Further demonstrating his range, he voiced the character Zack Cromwell in the steampunk sports anime Levius. His other anime credits include the role of Kyoya Ootori, the cool and calculating vice-president of the host club, in Ouran High School Host Club, General Logi in Blue Dragon, and Rex Goodwin in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's.
