Felix Spieß, born on August 17, 1972, in Ludwigsburg, Germany, is a German actor and voice actor who has built a prolific career in dubbing, with a significant body of work in anime. His path to voice acting began after an initial focus on theater and music. He pursued acting training in Berlin and was involved in various theater projects before dedicating himself to music as the guitarist for the Berlin band delicate from 1994 to 2003. A friend in the music industry who was also working in dubbing studios sparked his interest in voice acting. Spieß began auditioning at Berlin dubbing studios in 2001, where his talent quickly led to work, initially in ensemble casts before he secured his first major role as Sean Donnelly in the series The Black Donnellys in 2007.

In the realm of anime and animation, Felix Spieß is recognized for lending his voice to a wide array of characters. He is known to anime fans for his role as the Namekian warrior Piccolo in the German dubs of Dragon Ball Z Kai and Dragon Ball Super. Another prominent and long-standing role is that of the boisterous but loyal chef Baldroy, often called Bard, in the Black Butler anime series, including Black Butler: Book of Murder and Black Butler: Book of the Atlantic. His voice can also be heard as the disciplined Inspector Nobuchika Ginoza in the psychological thriller Psycho-Pass and its film Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System.
