OVA
Description
The Producer serves as the player's avatar and primary protagonist throughout the franchise, depicted as a rookie producer employed at talent agency 765 Production. His core responsibility involves guiding and developing pop idols. To preserve player immersion, his appearance remains intentionally undefined in most games, typically presented from a first-person perspective. Comics related to earlier titles sometimes depict him with a stylized 'P' replacing facial features, while the *Puchimasu!* spin-off represents him with a yellow 'P' for a head. Anime adaptations consistently show him as a man possessing short dark hair, glasses, and professional attire.

Within *Shiny Festa*, the Producer coordinates 765 Production's participation in an international music festival on Vacation Island. Facing logistical constraints, he must choose only one unit of idols to attend from three possible groups:
- Harmonic Score (Honey Sound): Haruka Amami, Chihaya Kisaragi, Azusa Miura, and Ritsuko Akizuki
- Rhythmic Record (Funky Note): Yayoi Takatsuki, Iori Minase, Hibiki Ganaha, and Ami/Mami Futami
- Melodic Disc (Groovy Tune): Miki Hoshii, Yukiho Hagiwara, Makoto Kikuchi, and Takane Shijō
This selection determines which idols participate and which original anime episode introduces the scenario.

During the festival's "Star of Festa" mode, the Producer oversees five consecutive days of song performances. He manages resources, using "Memories" earned from performances to activate "Memory Boosters" during songs, thereby increasing audience votes. He also coordinates rival matches against computer-controlled opponents from agencies like 876 Production, Jupiter, and Cinderella Girls. Victories grant "Name Cards" providing permanent vote bonuses, with success requiring accumulation of 100,000 votes by the festival's end.

The Producer maintains professional relationships with the idols. Notably, he guides Ritsuko Akizuki's transition from office manager to performing idol within Harmonic Score. His managerial decisions directly impact the idols' rankings and resource availability within the game.
