TV-Series
Description
Collot is a student at Cherryton Academy and a minor character in the narrative. He is a male Old English Sheepdog, known for his calm and friendly personality. Physically, Collot has a white coat with a distinctive, abundant fringe of fur that completely covers his eyes, while the rest of his body has short fur. He also has long, floppy ears and a long, fluffy tail. Although his eyes are never shown in the series, creator notes have described them as very beautiful. At the start of the story, he is around seventeen to eighteen years old.
Collot resides in the canine dormitory, Room 701, alongside several other male canines including Legoshi, Jack, Durham, Miguno, and Voss. His primary role within this group is that of a supportive and easygoing friend. One of his most notable and consistent behaviors is offering rides to his smallest roommate, a fennec fox named Voss, allowing the smaller animal to travel perched on him.
Within the broader story, Collot acts as a part of the supporting cast, often reacting to the events unfolding around the protagonist, Legoshi. He and his roommates are present during the aftermath of the murder of a fellow student, Tem, and they observe the unusual tension and behavior within their dorm. During the Meteor Festival, Collot is shown participating in school activities, such as a fur-cutting ceremony where the trimmed fur is collected for potential sale.
Collot maintains his role as a loyal and concerned friend throughout several major arcs. When Legoshi is forced to leave the academy and move to the Beast Apartments, Collot is among the roommates who visit him to celebrate his new home, reaffirming their friendship. He also joins the group on casual outings, demonstrating the enduring nature of their bond. When Legoshi begins to act erratically, such as claiming to hear mysterious noises in their room or punching a hole in the wall, Collot is present, witnessing these changes with a mixture of unease and steady support. He also helps cover for Legoshi when the latter breaks curfew or becomes involved with the dwarf rabbit Haru.
Beyond his physical strength and athletic build, which comes naturally to a young sheepdog, Collot does not possess any unique or specialized abilities that set him apart from other students. His primary function and notable trait are his steadfast loyalty and his calm, grounding presence within his close circle of friends.
