Description
Durham, a coyote student residing in Cherryton Academy’s 701 Canines dormitory, sports a tan coat accentuated by darker brown markings around his eyes, snout, forehead, and ear tips, with a lighter-hued lower tail. His athletic frame and medium stature are often clad in Cherryton’s uniform—crisp white shirt, indigo vest, and dark gray tie paired with gray trousers during colder months, transitioning to a breezy blue polo in summer.

Though his sharp gaze and brash exterior suggest mischief, Durham harbors steadfast loyalty to his peers. He thrives in rowdy antics—sumo wrestling matches against Legoshi and Collot end in predictable defeats, yet he persists with unshaken enthusiasm. Beyond the chaos, he partakes in dormitory rituals like communal fur-trimming for summer and late-night card games where laughter drowns out competitiveness.

After Tem’s murder, Durham and his dormmates observe the crime scene’s unfolding without direct involvement. When Legoshi withdraws following the Haru incident, Durham dismisses the behavior as melodrama, a reflex to trivialize emotional complexities. Later, as Legoshi vanishes to rescue Haru, Durham aids in concocting alibis for school authorities, masking concern with jests about secret trysts.

His presence within the group cements camaraderie, balancing raucous energy with collective responsibility. Though his history remains unexplored, his actions—covering for allies or engaging in rowdy contests—underscore a duality of carefree mischief and unspoken dedication, revealing a loyalty that thrives beneath the surface of jokes and roughhousing.
