Description
Satone Shichimiya, self-styled "Sophia Ring SP Saturn VII" or "The Magical Devil Girl," was Yuta Togashi's classmate in their second year of junior high. She transferred schools abruptly without saying goodbye, leaving unresolved feelings despite considering Yuta her only true friend then.

Shichimiya sports distinctive pink pigtails and blue-green eyes, standing 156 cm tall. Her signature look features a red jumper skirt, long black knee socks, and a long dark blue scarf trailing to her ankles. A pink heart-shaped sticker adorns her left cheek in the present, originally created and gifted by Yuta during middle school; flashbacks show it on her right cheek.

Her personality is defined by persistent chuunibyou delusions, interpreting everyday life as magical battles. She exclusively calls Yuta "Yuusha," a nickname from their past. Shichimiya exhibits a playful, confident demeanor, frequently laughing ("Niii-hahahaha!") and invading Yuta's personal space with physical affection. This reflects her deep attachment and unresolved romantic feelings originating in junior high. Unlike Rikka Takanashi's trauma-based delusions, Shichimiya deliberately adopted her "Magical Devil Girl" persona to avoid emotional vulnerability, vowing to remain in this fantasy "forever."

Shichimiya sparked Yuta's own chuunibyou phase, acting as his "master" and inspiring his "Dark Flame Master" identity and phrases like "Be engulfed in Dark Flames." Key shared memories include lying by a river, Yuta retrieving her bag from a dog, and him shielding her from rain with his coat—moments that later resurface emotionally. Her influence extended to Shinka Nibutani, a junior high friend who admired Shichimiya's chuunibyou persona.

Returning in the second season after moving into Rikka's former apartment below Yuta's, Shichimiya reignites her bond with him, creating tension as Rikka perceives her as a rival. This forces Shichimiya to confront her suppressed feelings, physically manifested by her heart sticker repeatedly detaching. During a pivotal shrine encounter sheltering from rain, she tearfully confesses her lingering affection, acknowledging that prioritizing her chuunibyou identity over confessing might have cost her a relationship. Yuta gently rejects her, affirming his commitment to Rikka.

Her arc culminates in a symbolic "battle" against the "Dark Flame Dragon"—a manifestation of her repressed emotions and jealousy toward Rikka. This chuunibyou duel provides catharsis. She transitions from using delusions as a shield against heartbreak to embracing them as genuine joy. She supports Yuta and Rikka's relationship, even helping Rikka unlock Yuta's "Dark Flame Dragon" as proof of their bond. Later appearances, like the film "Take On Me," depict her with a more lighthearted, resolved demeanor, signaling emotional growth.

Trivia notes include her birthday (July 6), blood type (B), and the origin of her heart sticker with Yuta. She appears in the first movie's after-credits scene and briefly in "Take On Me."
