Description
Vlad Dracula III began as a 15th-century Transylvanian ruler. As Count of a prosperous territory in 1456, he fiercely defended his people against invaders like Bulgarians, Hungarians, and Attila the Hun. His notorious tactics, displaying impaled enemy corpses to deter attacks, earned him the name Vlad the Impaler. This era ended in 1462 during a multi-front assault where he fell to arrow wounds on the battlefield.

Satan resurrected him as a vampire, granting immortality and supernatural abilities in exchange for eternal servitude. His transformation required blood for sustenance, brought vulnerability to sunlight and religious symbols, and granted powers like shapeshifting into a bat or smoke. For centuries, he ruled as the vampire prince, siring offspring like Mallisa and Sir Tomo while battling hunters such as Jonathan Harker and Abraham Van Helsing.

Centuries later, Dracula sought refuge in Boston, Massachusetts, from European hunters. He disrupted a satanic ritual and abducted the intended sacrifice, Dolores. Developing genuine affection for her, he abandoned his plan to feed. They married and, despite his vampiric nature, conceived a son named Janus. This period marked a shift as he embraced domestic life and expressed remorse for his violent past.

Satan retaliated, orchestrating events leading to Janus's accidental death during a cultist confrontation. Overcome by rage and grief, Dracula slaughtered the cultists. Satan then stripped him of his vampiric powers as punishment. Divine intervention later resurrected Janus as an entity of pure light tasked with destroying Dracula. After clashes with his empowered son, Satan captured Dracula and Dolores. During imprisonment, Dolores's unwavering love nullified Satan's influence and inadvertently restored Dracula's mortality.

Seeking to regain his vampiric abilities, the mortal Dracula traveled to New York, requesting transformation from Layla, a vampire he created. She refused. Returning to Transylvania, he found his former subjects following Sir Tomo. After killing Tomo to reassert dominance, he confronted the persistent vampire hunter Hans Harker, descendant of Jonathan Harker, at his castle. Hans used a concealed silver spike in his wheelchair to mortally wound Dracula. In his final act, Dracula lunged at Hans, triggering an explosion from the hunter's wheelchair bomb that killed them both.

Janus later visited Dolores, implying Dracula's ultimate damnation before ascending to heaven. Dolores was left with a new infant.
