Movie
Description
Takahiro is Sakura Yamauchi's ex-boyfriend, maintaining friendly terms after their breakup. As class representative, he holds a good reputation, presenting a polite and well-mannered public demeanor. He is a tall, handsome young man with an evenly structured muscular build, dark brown hair and eyes, and wears square-framed glasses in the manga adaptation, typically seen in his school uniform.

Takahiro first appears delivering a 'super rare CD' to Sakura while observed by Haruki Shiga, with Sakura's friends noting his popularity among female classmates. Later, jealous over Haruki's close relationship with Sakura, Takahiro confronts Haruki outside Sakura's house, demanding to know why Sakura developed feelings for him. When Haruki cannot answer and clarifies their relationship is not romantic, Takahiro punches him in the face, believing this action benefits Sakura. Sakura arrives, sees Haruki on the ground, and demands to know who hurt him. Takahiro pridefully admits to the assault, prompting Sakura to declare she hates him. Dumbfounded by her reaction, Takahiro leaves the scene.

This confrontation reveals a contrast to Takahiro's public persona, exposing his resentment toward Haruki due to their shared connection to Sakura, leading to physical aggression. His actions contribute to a strained dynamic with both characters. Takahiro never reappears after this incident.

Following Sakura's death, Takahiro's ultimate fate remains undisclosed. He does not reconcile with Sakura or Haruki and does not attend Sakura's funeral. The narrative does not explore Takahiro's background, family, or activities beyond his interactions with Sakura and Haruki. His limited appearances serve to highlight his jealousy and the impact of Sakura's illness on peripheral relationships, with no further development in subsequent adaptations or spin-offs.
