Description
Ayumu Aikawa is a 16-year-old male high school student murdered by a serial killer and resurrected as a zombie by the necromancer Eucliwood Hellscythe. This resurrection grants him functional immortality, featuring regeneration and the ability to survive severe bodily damage, though injuries cause him pain. His undead state creates an extreme vulnerability to sunlight and heat, resulting in rapid dehydration and weakened regeneration during the day. He resides alone in a detached house, his parents and younger brother living abroad; he later shares this home with Eucliwood, the magical garment girl Haruna, and the vampire ninja Seraphim.
Initially lazy, snarky, and somewhat perverted, Ayumu prefers solitude but gradually comes to value companionship through his interactions. He frequently daydreams about Eucliwood in idealized scenarios, revealing a sister-complex inclination she acknowledges.
