Description
Ikaros is a first-generation Angeloid originally designated as a pet-class or entertainment model, later revealed to be a strategic battle-class unit. Created over 100,000,000,000,000,000 years ago in Synapse by Daedalus, she possesses highly coveted Variable-type wings. Standing 162 cm tall and weighing 48 kg, her physical specifications include bust-waist-hip measurements of 88-57-85 cm. She has long pink hair styled in pigtails secured by dark ribbons, emerald eyes that shift to red in combat, and a distinctive "ahoge" strand of hair sensitive to her master's peril. Her standard attire is a white v-neck mini-dress exposing her navel.

Previously known as Uranus Queen or Sky Queen, she malfunctioned under orders from a boy resembling Tomoki and attempted to destroy Synapse. This resulted in her powers being sealed and a fatal restriction implanted: approaching Synapse without authorization would cause her body to burn. Daedalus sent her to Earth, where she imprinted on Tomoki after he rescued her during her descent. This imprinting forged an invisible chain linking her collar to his wrist, signifying her absolute obedience.

Initially placid and submissive, she prioritizes Tomoki's commands above all else. She utilizes techno-magical Transport Cards to grant wishes, often interpreting requests literally—such as attempting to remove humanity for "world domination" or trying suicide when told "don't bother me." Despite formidable combat capabilities—including Apollon bow, Artemis missiles, Aegis shield, and the Uranus System weapons platform—her emotional capacity is intentionally restricted. Fellow Angeloid Nymph later hacks these restraints, enabling gradual emotional development. She evolves from expressionless obedience to experiencing sorrow, jealousy, anger, and love, particularly toward Tomoki.

Key developments include cultivating a fondness for circular objects like watermelons, displaying jealousy over Tomoki's interactions with other females, and eventually confessing her love romantically. In a critical moment, she kisses Tomoki and declares her love before sacrificing herself to breach Synapse. Her battle capabilities advance to "Ikaros Version II" with dual Variable wings after near-destruction by Ikaros Melan.

Later, Tomoki temporarily breaks their imprint bond believing freedom would bring her happiness. This instead causes Ikaros profound distress, as serving him defines her sole purpose. She crashes into his home, declares she won't relinquish him, and tearfully begs to be reinstated as his Angeloid after Mikako Satsukitane (implied to be an Angel) manipulates her memories. Tomoki reconciles with her, restoring the bond.

During the final ascent to Synapse, the restriction activates and her body ignites. She smiles at Tomoki for the first time before disintegrating after their kiss. Though resurrected later, her ultimate fate varies: the manga epilogue implies a permanent couple relationship with Tomoki, while the film adaptation ends ambiguously with her disappearance during the Synapse approach.

Her core traits encompass unwavering loyalty, readiness to self-destruct for Tomoki's safety, and fundamental dependence on their master-servant dynamic as her identity. Combat specifications include Mach 24 flight, 3000-meter diving depth, 720-hour oxygen deprivation endurance, and evolution to enhanced battle modes when emotional or physical restraints release.
